Every puzzle you tried

My puzzles lists each puzzle you have met on the Practise tab, the one you tried last at the top, and says in words where each one stands — not just how many you solved, but which.

Where it is

Once you have tried some, a card on Practise says how many: Solved and a number, and how many are left to retry. Tap that line and the list opens on that card's puzzles. A card with two such lines — the endgames card names both — opens the one you tapped.

What a row says

Each row is one puzzle, however many times you met it. It says what the puzzle is — „Mate in 2", the motifs of a tactics puzzle, the material of an endgame, the move of a game blunder, or the task of an exercise of your own — and where it stands: Solved first try, solved on a later try, Failed or Skipped, with how many tries and the day you last tried it.

The chips above the list keep All, or only what is Failed, Skipped or Solved; the menu beside them keeps All puzzles or one kind — Tactics, Mate puzzles, Winning positions, Endgames, Game blunders, Basic checkmates or My exercises. The two work together. A long list ends in Show more, which brings the older ones.

Looking at one

On a window the puzzle you tap is shown in a pane beside the list; until you tap one, the pane says Tap a puzzle to see it here. On a phone it opens in a sheet from the bottom. Both show the position, with the side to move at the bottom, when you first met it and when you last tried it, and, where there is one, its rating, the players of its game or the book it came from.

Try again puts that one puzzle in front of you on its own drill; the try counts like any other, and the list shows its new state when you come back. It is not offered for a game blunder or a basic checkmate, nor for an exercise of yours that is played as a game rather than answered with a move. Open in Analysis takes the position to Analysis whatever its state; looking does not count as a try. A puzzle that has since been removed stays in the list and says that it is no longer available.

Only yours

The list is your account's own: the puzzles you tried, on any of your devices. To work through every failed puzzle of a kind at once, use Retry failed on its card instead. The cards themselves are on practise on your own, and the exercises you make are on solve your own exercises.
